Bachelorette in Laradise

Destination: Charleston, South Carolina! When deciding where to celebrate my bachelorette weekend with my girlfriends, there was no list for eliminating or votes for venues. Charleston's southern charm was a shoe-in for the spot and 8 months later, it was featured on Southern Bride! You can check out the full post here.

To get the party started, we could not go wrong with piping in the best of the Spice Girls while everyone opened their goody bags (this was one of the most fun things about planning the trip). gala tuesday's favors were featured and consisted of Lilly Pulitzer tunics (the most special part about this was our wedding venue was part of the print), beach towels, gold pineapple tumblers from W&P Design, mint julep candles, Pampellonne Rose, ring pops and other fun goodies that were Charleston inspired.

I love the idea of matching at least once on a bachelorette party because, why not? We adored wearing our Lilly tunics and custom sun hats that I had made for the girls. Each hat had a love saying on each brim to match the bridesmaids' personalities! We had a diverse group of Aspiring Housewives to Better Togethers.I am all about the personalization - your guests immediately feel special and that you went out of your way to do so!

I am so grateful to have such loving friends - every girl contributed to the weekend in a special way and I'm so thankful for their friendship. It was everything that I believe a bachelorette weekend should be!
