Before I dive right into the main course, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. I'm Lara. I'm an avid sundress lover, classic movie queen, dog mom to a goofy German Shorthaired Pointer, flower market seeker, traveling enthusiast with a heart for family and friend get togethers.
My journey starts way back before the days of My Super Sweet Sixteen, days of summer pool parties and stupid cupid events for girls who didn't have a boyfriend in ninth grade. Even when tasked to organize the limo for my high school prom, I couldn't just make a mere reservation - there was an invite to the Lara-zine and a dinner complete with personalized place settings (which were hand Swarovski-crystalled, of course).
I adored hosting a soiree of any and every kind (and still do)! My love for themed events continued through college as a KKG sorority sister at Florida State University and advanced further as I developed my post-college career. I quickly realized I liked planning events and designing the favors more than press releases, and styling came in all forms of my daily routine. I worked tirelessly to combine both fashion and events and after years of working in the service industry, I found my home on the Nordstrom SE Regional Marketing Team where I had the joy of planning corporate events with an amazingly creative group of women. So creative, in fact, that they gave me the nickname gala tuesday. Why you may ask? On any given day of the week, the office was a runway where tulle skirts took over my cubicle (gala style) and creating a production out of life's simplest days was my mantra! A lot has changed for me in the past year - there has been so much love, loss and moving. After years of dreaming up my own party perfection, I decided to take it into my own hands and create a curated celebrations and gifting guide for all of those who strive for a painless, pinterest-perfect party or present.
All components have been beautifully curated and I am so excited to share them with y'all so soon!
That being said, I am beyond excited to pop the champagne, toss the confetti and toast to all of life's celebrations (coming to you in box form)!
